Baltimore County Game and Fish
In 1936, a group of prominent Baltimore County sportsmen concerned about conservation of wildlife and natural habitats formed the Baltimore County Game & Fish Protective Association. Membership required a love and understanding of the great outdoors and a desire to improve wildlife preservation through education, conservation, and support of related legislation. Since then, the association has gone on to provide a valuable and needed community resource to sportsmen and non-sportsmen alike.
This Association is organized to procure the enactment of suitable laws for the protection and preservation of game, fish, forests and waters within the State of Maryland and for the vigorous enforcement of such laws, and to carry out all phases of conservation, such as, education, legislation, propagation of game and fish and any other activities that may come within the true interpretation of conservation of the natural resources and wild life and shall engage in activities tending to educate and create an interest in conservation.
