Do I need my own equipment?
No, your Women On Target® clinic will provide everything you need — gun, ammunition, and protective gear for your eyes and ears. If you do own a gun or safety gear, you are welcome to bring it, but it is not required.

What can I expect to learn?
The course includes both classroom and range time. You'll learn NRA's rules for gun safety, which include understanding how to safely handle, operate and store your firearm. You'll also be taught basics about loading and unloading your firearm, pistol grip, eye dominance, and the fundamentals of marksmanship and the shooting sports.
How much does it cost?
Costs typically range from anywhere from $15 up to $75 or more and cover loaner firearms, ammunition, range fee, eye and ear protection, and, depending on the clinic, refreshments or lunch. Check the fees for each clinic as they vary.
Is there an age restriction to participate?
Women On Target® does not have an age restriction, but due to varying state laws and rules among different clubs, clinics may issue certain restrictions and/or parent/guardian permission releases.
