Black Powder Shoot Rules:

-$5 per each firearm entry; all proceeds go towards the club.

-10 shots scored out of 100points on a standard paper target. Size of target is determined by division entered. Match is untimed.

-All standard range rules apply and must be followed, per club standard.

Divisions:

-Pistol: Shot offhand at 25 yards. Includes single-shot pistols, cap and ball revolvers, pepperboxes, etc. Smoothbore examples use a large silhouette target.

-Traditional Rifle: Shot while sitting at bench off basic sandbags/rests at 50 yards. Iron sights only. Percussion/flintlock and primitive only. Smoothbore examples use a large silhouette target.

-Inline Rifle: Shot while sitting at bench off basic sandbags/rests at 100 yards. Scopes allowed and encouraged as target is smaller.

-Cartridge Pistol: Shot offhand at 25 yards. Iron sights only. Historic designs such as conversion revolvers and period/reproduction black powder cartridge guns. Example: Colt Single Action Army and similar cowboy styles; derringers, etc. Black powder cartridges encouraged for the camaraderie, smokeless cartridges permitted in absence of.

-Breechloader Cartridge Rifle/Carbine: Shot while sitting at bench off basic sandbags/rests at 50 yards. Iron sights only. Historic and reproduction designs such as Trapdoor, Rolling Block, Civil War Carbine, etc. Black powder cartridges encouraged for the camaraderie; smokeless cartridges permitted in absence of.
