The BCGF Trap Range is open to our members and the public every Thursday evening from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Exact closing time will depend on turnout but will not extend past 8:00 PM. Cost is $5 per round. 12-gauge shells are available for purchase while supplies last. Shells purchased from the club must be used at the BCGF Trap Range. No shot size larger than #7. PLC- (Patrol Leaders Council) Youth leaders, about 10 people. This meeting is the 1st Saturday of the month from 9AM-11AM. They will meet in any available space.
Steel eggs shot from the bench at 50, 75,100, and 125 yards.
.22 Long Rifle ONLY, no .22 Mag or 17 HMR.
Up to 15 rounds at each distance, max rounds fired will be 60.
Open to members and guests.
Cost is $15 for members, $20 for guests.

2023 Winter Trap Shooting Competition
First Shoot February 5, 2023
The BCGF Winter Trap League has in the past required you shoot on 12 continuous Sundays to
qualify for any prizes. In 2022 weather forced 3 cancellations and reschedules and sent one
member to the hospital after slipping on the ice in the parking lot. This year we are trying
something a little different!
Each Sunday shoot will be a separate competition. You will shoot one round (25 clays) at 16
yards and a second round (25 clays) at your handicap yardage, starting based on previous league
scores or ATA rating. The cost is $15. We will pay the club for the birds and the balance of the
daily take will be divided among the top scores as follows, so that all level of shooters has a
chance to go home with cash in their pocket.
Overall high score 50% of the daily purse
The balance of the daily purse is divided between the top scores in each yardage block:
[20, 21-yard block]
[22, 23-yard block]
[24, 25-yard block]
[26, 27-yard block]
More shooters mean more prize money. The first shoot will be on Sunday February 5 th sign up at
11:30 shooting starts at 12 noon. We will only shoot as weather permits, not every Sunday, so
check the club calendar for the next shoot.

Big Rack Hunting Club Meeting In The Clubhouse
Scout Troop 247 Committee Meeting.
This meeting is for the adult leaders and usually meet in the bar area.
1st BCGF usually host a Hunter Safety Instructor Update Meeting, the coordinator for the Central Region (Phil Norman) would like to do this on Monday March 6 @ 7pm in the upstairs meeting room.
